| Actually, I think the war themed video fits well with a song about an abusive relationship. They're somewhat similar concepts, but for different reasons and on a different scale, and usually with different weapons. | |

I think, with the lyrics "The love, the hate, regret We all have it" he's saying he has all these emotions, but he knows everyone else does, too. With the lines "I'd climb up 16 chapels And kick out every 16th stone To keep another one from feeling so broken To keep another one from feeling so torn" he's saying he wants to try to keep others from going through the same stuff. Great song. |
