i always thought it was reflecting the notorious Walk Of Shame: he got a blowie from some skank and hes trying to get out: "i'd like to leave": self explanatory "i'd like to breathe": get some fresh air and clear my head "you could do anything": what the hell was i thinking? i coulda done SO much better than this girl "stain": you get the idea :) |

one of my favorites: BLEW aka "blow job"-- he got a blowie from some skank and now he's trying to get the hell outta dodge cuz she wont leave him alone. "is there another reason for your stain?": think monica lewinsky & bill clinton LOLOL i love how its in past tense, like he's reflecting aka: the walk of shame-- "you could do anything" -- aka: you know you could have done a LOT better than this girl. and FWI: the "laundry room" song you downloaded was mistitled. i think its from the Bleach album & its called "Sappy". |

(ie: shes not the girl for me, but now we're married, having a kid, house, and picket fence so im pretty much screwed.) |

i dont know if these are the correct lyrics but i always thought it was like "i dont care if im sold!" as in "i dont care if im a f*kin sell out"... maybe a mix of fear & guilty feelings about being successful, having kids, growing up, etc...? repeat of "she said" maybe feeling the extra pressure from the girl? been there myself & it sucks and kinda puts the rest of the song into better perspective -- but all that aside it doesnt matter, this is my fav song of theirs and it rocks even if im totally off base. if you agree or disagree id like to hear other comments on this take. -i |
