Lenny Kravitz – Thinking Of You Lyrics | 13 years ago |
So amazing, lovely, and well written, but I can't expect any less from Lenny Kravitz! I'm putting this on a cd for my mother this Valentine's Day 2011. |

I'm pretty stoned myself, so interpret this interpretation how you will. "The fruit is calling from the trees." Some sort of reference to the story of Adam and Eve, perhaps? As far as the rest of it, right now, I'm just grooving out to it on Winamp, and it's rockin my world. =) |
Alice in Chains – Love, Hate, Love Lyrics | 13 years ago |
Honestly, I wish I had, but I never once interpreted this song that way. still all the while, I knew considering the fact that it was an Alice In Chains song, it had to go way deeper than just that conventional story of a guy so obsessed with a girl that he stalks her, perhaps has his way with her, and then kills her. Layne and/or Jerry have never been that unoriginal. Just as with every song that Layne sings, with LoveHateLove, you can feel whatever he's feeling by just hearing his voice. Sad to say, I hear a lot of torment being let loose, due to the fact that most, if not all of his songs were true stories of past or present experiences he went through. But this one must have been such a traumatic, haunting experience. having discovered this new meaning, I now have a new appreciation for this song that I never did before... This Live version I found from '93 sounds AMAZING! I think it came from a torrent. |
Israel Kamakawiwo'ole – In This Life Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I would have thought it was a lover he found, but it's awesome to think about it from your angle, how he simply loves doing what he does, regardless of how much he makes for doing it. it's a rarity in the music business, what with all the gimmicks that exist now a days. it's heartbreaking to hear him say "I know that I won't live forever." |

Such a heartfelt song by a talented man... so sad that he's gone. But when I listen to this, his true feelings just pour out in the words, and he lives on through them and the rest of his songs... |
Willow – Whip My Hair Lyrics | 13 years ago |
...I wish she would enlighten us as to what she is accomplishing, whipping her hair back and forth. You guessed it: nothing. |

To Will Smith: you are great at what you do, but please tell that kid of yours not to make any more songs!! Thank You. turn my swag on, haters, i'm gonna shine, my grind, etc. etc. just a whole lot of mindless noise and words Nothing we haven't heard before... Next. At least we have the 90's to go back to for what was actually the last bit of good music we ever heard, you could turn on a radio and not ever change the station. now a days I have no use for a radio, an ipod is all I need, so I can load it up with songs by people who have REAL TALENT. |
