!!This is the way I like to think about it, not necessarily what it's actually about!! I think the song is talking about walking a life with Jesus. When it says, "We hardly seek, but hope to find you there," a lot of Christians don't read there bible often, or seek at Jesus. 90% of Christians have never lead someone else to the path of god, they don't seek people out who need him most. so they hardly seek. Yet when the time comes they hope to find him there. When it says, "If we don't speak No one can lend an ear, If we don't preach the word, no one can hear it, and no one is saved. I also think the begging part is about how easy it is to fall into sin, and how you need to walk with love and god to fix that. |
