Mumford & Sons – White Blank Page Lyrics | 12 years ago |
why does this seem as if it was written for a woman to sing? This song is all obviously written from a man's point of view, stating that no matter how tough men are or appear, even the toughest have or have had emotions this profound. He's singing about what has ruined a lot of men, as they won't ever recover from that, at the very best they'll do the same way as a sword, that will still do what it's made for, but never be the same, not ever as strong as before and untarnished, once it's been chipped. |

How To Destroy Angels – The Believers Lyrics | 13 years ago |
blueox01 - I find your interpretation to be pretty close-minded, also how convinced and definite you present it. However, I don't mean to insult or attack you. I believe the album is about how people are ruined by what's around them. They're "angels" being destroyed. It is talking about human society and how it changes people. This song in particular, about how people walk the same path, maybe even knowing it is wrong, led by people knowing where it leads to, yet feeling unable to leave it, simply because it's hard or they have been destroyed and given up. Most people think they're "survivors", haven't "given up", tell others "not to give up", while in the end, they're the ones who've given up themselves and everything around them, now being a regular, living part of the society and world they find to be wrong in so many ways. |
Pendulum – Comprachicos Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Or again...not as a reply: Manipulation doesn't shape me I am just filling the bottle out and even though this glass restrains me, I can’t see anything to yell about well i could fight this, but i may die. and all i want is to be the apple in your eye, but i can stay here, strap on my face. listen to the ones who put me in my place. I am a serial fantasy destroyer And you wanna know what I’m going to do about it You thought that my hands were behind my back Though I didn’t have the nerve to throw it away 'cause I’ve got the patience To see that you drown to watch you go down Throw it away 'cause I’ve got the patience To see that you drown to watch you go down I am a reality invention fighter At war against your constant manipulation All this time you thought that I believed you The more you say, the easier to throw it away 'cause I’ve got the patience To see that you drown to watch you go down Throw it away 'cause I’ve got the patience To see that you drown to watch you go down |
