If one would view the official video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0V95A7UIQ3I, it sheds quite a bit of light on the song's meaning. The being of light at the beginning of the video was the Holy Spirit and the light in their chests is the Holy Ghost living inside them. "Dancing" means that you need to spread your faith and glorify in the Lord, else you are spiritually "dead" The war they refer to is the battle to save more souls for the Eternal Kingdom. The stanza below is particularly cryptic: "Trying to take our lives We will survive Running out of time The world ends tonight unless we dance or die" The translation would be, by line: "Trying to kill our faith But our faith will stay strong. We are running out of time until Jesus returns, We have no choice but to spread the Word: if we dont our faith is dead" |
