My mom also thinks the song is about someone who's shooting heroin, because of the "let her under your skin" part. Personally, I don't care who wrote it or why. To me, it's about when you're feeling like there's no hope and nobody can help you, just take a minute to see the bright side of things. You're not responsible for everything, so don't carry the world upon your shoulders. Shit happens and you have to carry on. The minute you'll let hope enter into your heart you'll start feeling better. |
