Okay in my opinion this song is about an ex girlfriend or something of that sort for example, "Every line is about who I don't write about anymore" meaning this person is not in his life any longer and he is obviously holding some animosity towards this person.. "Hope you come down with something they can't diagnose" "Cause you can't keep a secret if it never was a secret to start At least pretend you didn't wanna get caught" I believe the chorus is talking about how the were so focused on fighting that nothing could change yet he wanted to believe so badly that things would "We're consentratin' on fallin' apart We were contenders, now throwin' the fight I just wanna believe, I just wanna believe, I just wanna believe in us" |
