The meaning of the song is pretty straight foward, that nothing perfect is worth loving, which always made me think of a study done on faces, perfectly symmetrical faces were considered by almost all people to be ugly, while faces that were not perfect(normal people's faces) were considered much more atractive. I also see it as a "in your face" to neat, and people who like to have everything symmetrical, The mona lisa, the sphynx, all not symmetrical and by far not perfect. |
