| In my opinion, it kinda just hit me now, but maybe it means like, he (or anybody else in this situation) can be so miserable over maybe a recent break up OR maybe someone close to you died and you just feel so alone and lonely, but what the chorus sounds like is that, God is telling you, you are not alone, and that he is always there with you no matter what you are going through. Because he says "everyday I sit and ask myself How did love slip away" but then he says SOMETHING whispers into his ear and says..."you are not alone". | |
