Blur – Trouble in the Message Centre Lyrics 15 years ago
This song might be all about the youth culture in the 90's of going out and getting wasted on drugs or alcohol, or both and then waking up the next morning and realising how irresponsible you were and how much trouble you might be in. At least that's what the chorus sounds like to me anyway.

The verses sound incredible with Grahams guitar in the background and I think Damon's voice sounds at his best. It sounds very attractive, I'm a heterosexual male but when Damon says, midly sonorously, "I am a manager" "I am in control" It sounds very alpha male and totally secure

Blur – This Is a Low Lyrics 15 years ago
Since when was Damon on heroin jackofOxford? Maybe he was, I hope not.

This song for me could be two things. I know blur were fantastic musicians but they were always laid back and positive. I wouldn't expect them to make a deep melancholy song like Nirvana or Alice in chains. So, it could be a song about radio low signals, sort of exhibiting the experience of radio and sea ships into sound.

However I would like to think this song has a much deeper meaning... And I think it probably does. Damon talks about trying to be sober and I know much of the band struggled with alcoholism. Alcohol consumption makes your moods and emotions very high and then very low. I think Damon is talking about the highs and lows of life and then he says "but it won't hurt you", as if to say hard times make people stronger and it's a good thing for the human soul.

Blur – Tracy Jacks Lyrics 15 years ago
I think this song is based on the day in the life of an ordinary person with an ordinary job who realises everything he has been striving for or lives for is overrated. I think it's Damon's way of saying how what the majority of people in the UK "supposedly want", i.e a white collar job, a nice house and maybe a nice car is overrated.

This song is about Graham leaving the band. As Damon said the door is always open and it looks like he's come back now. Check out the live version of this song it's epic.
