it's about not becoming to cocky and arrogant within yourself. its about 'coming back to the middle' of your senses. in this song she gives a masculine and feminine example of people who were once subtle and who subconsciously got carried away with who they'd become and have gone completly in the opposite direction to what is necessary. they need to come back to the middle of their two personalities that they once had and have now.

i had a playlist of about 10 songs i listened to everyday for about a year straight when i was going through a very mild kind of depression and this was one i played more than others. it really did give me the hope i needed.. the music brings feelings of nature, namely water streams and butterflies which makes for a very relaxing and inspiring peice of music. amazing.
more specifically. this song is just about new beginnings and leaving everything behind but taking only the most important things to 'the next day' or 'tomorrow.
