aww man. i thought this was a love song until i read the lyrics a little while ago. well lucky i was young and naive when it was popular. definetely about a drug addiction. the lines 'i want something else to get me through this semicharmed kinda life' suggest either that she wants some drugs to make her life more exciting, or that she wants to quit and have a different fix of something not harmful to herself. |

my friend [who's like a MASSIVE beatles fan] said that this song was written, because everyone was trying to analyise the cover of their Abbey Road album. people were saying, "perhaps the man in the Blue suit symbolises peace, and the one in the black suit represents death.." etc. so they wrote a complete NONSENSE song to confuse the fuck out of everyone :) Long live the Beatles |
