This could easily be wrong but i get the impression that this song is about a love of music that is far greater than a girl. I get the impression that the narrator of the song is listening to 'The Nation of Ulysses', while his girlfriend is crying or complaining to him. He really doesn't care and just wants to listen to his music. While she is getting upset he continues not to pay attention to what she is saying, but he seems to gain some understanding just by looking in her eyes (not that this is making him care any more as he later claims that he dozed off despite trying to hear what she was upset about). i don't really get why people are saying this is a love song, it would be nice if someone could elaborate. Also why do people think this is saosin, it isn't on any of their releases. |
