I think maybe this song is about Andrew's desire to detach from the sound of the last album. Keep in mind that the song is called "Flash Delirium" and really look at what's being said everytime these words are sung.

The whole burglary thing set in the video I don't think should be taken literally. The lyrics to this song are much too personal, in my opinion, to be aimed at some stranger breaking into his house. Plus, that much hate for a random thief would be strange and would hardly matter so much as to write a song about it. |
