Actually, I know for a fact that Shane's (the singer's) girlfriend just died in a car accident, and he said that this song along with the whole album is about her, and how he is coping with her passing. "Cause you know My world, my world's not over Because I have an angel on my shoulder" and his girlfriends death is why "That deep down inside I'm hurting But at least I know you're worth it" you can listen to pretty much any other song on the album and hear related lyrics ('Head in Hands' for one). hope i helped :] |
