I remember hearing this song for the first time, it was the video I saw and hearing the guitar and piano I instantly became interested then I heard the beat and Lily's voice and words, I was in love. This song so sad, everyone has gone through this and she explains events, experients and emotions so well that's why I love her music so much. She sings about things she's been through. Whether it's sex, relationships or society she does it excellent. How she uses old songs from other people is the best, I've never heard any artist do that as marvelous as Lily :) |

Yes, Im a huge No Doubt fan, and of course their older songs were awesome. But I like all their songs. I think this song is about depression of a teenager, well maybe not a teenager, but I figure a teenager since she says the "youre always telling me to go out more", i dont think it's about a boyfriend because Adrian Young or Eric Stefani wrote this, I dont remember which. Its opening up to someone, theyve finally found someone they can tell what they really feel to. So they admit that theyre looking for better days, "greener pastures", but they realize its not happening thus "i guess ill get over it", like its their long dream to go somewhere and finally feel relaxed and happy. Thats just me, I could be wrong. But thats how I always see it. Gwens voice is beautiful. |

I agree with marcy80. He says he loves her but she doesn't believe it. Everyone told her "he wouldn't change" And since he can't even change for her she feels like a nobody to him, since people change for others they care about or love. He's always going to be a cheat but she doesn't care because she loves him. And he's probably into someone else, and it hurts her. Then the "he'd suprise me when he'd come around" probably meant he never bothered her before she always had to go to him and now that he's finally come she's . . . "suprised" :] This song really hurt me when I broke up with my boyfriend.((lame. i know)) But I totally love it. I Love MONSTER ARE WAITING I can't wait for the new album.
