I think he's talking about how his mother (who was jewish) forced her familie's religion upon him and he had to go to private jewish schools and his life was very strict. and by having her religion forced on him he hated it even more, so i think he's renouncing all affiliations with her faith and pissed for her forcing it upon him. |

i think he's reffering to false idols like money and feeling power by being violent. besides all the people that u say have been killed in the name of God, those were HUMANS doing that stuff, if they were REAL live by the book christians, they wouldn't kill others because they weren't chritians |

InGunsWeTrust, I think you are thinking a little to far into it. Although I am amazed at the conclusions you came to, Benjamin says at concerts, "This is a song I wrote about The Wizard Of Oz", I don't think it connects to much with his life. |
