This song was actually the, I guess you could say, "remake" to a song by Feist also titled "Brandy Alexander". The phrase "brandy alexander" is actually after the alcoholic drink "Brandy Alexander" that is made with none other than Brandy. Which is also where Chuck Palahniuk got his characters name from. The song sung by Feist is the girls point of view, this versin by Ron Sexsmith is the guys point a view. I highly reccomeng everyone to check out Feist if you havent yet!! |
