oh god, it's like suede songs, where everyone tries to relate EVERYTHING to justine, when you'd think the man probably got over it, ya know? but I don't get why two bob cunt is so hard to get? I'm an american, and I came in, looked at that, and figured out the general meaning without needing to know specifics at all. this song is such fun to listen to, though as an american I'm sure I'm missing a lot. I mean, I've got a lot of it because I don't just sit around and leave it when I don't get something, but still, I figure there's probably something I don't realize I can get. Either way, it's still a fantastic track. |

I agree with Rosethornn. it feels like me in reverse, and I know a lot of transwomen identify with it. I wish there was another version, for FTMs, even though it wouldn't make sense. but I just want a song like this to listen to and know it's me, there aren't really many songs about transsexuals out there. :/ |

so it IS daleks? I thought so. haha. the lyrics sound a lot like daleks, except that daleks are never obedient and they don't have brothers or anything unless you're a dalek, and I don't know if that's exactly "brothers". but what with wanting a mission and people to destroy, sounds exactly like a dalek. and even the religion thing, in bad wolf/parting of the ways, they were kind of like that. but I really like this song, I liked it even before I thought about any of this, before I had watched that show. |

I'm pretty sure it's "right now's when we testify", and maybe "survive" instead of "so fly". and "if it's killing you after then all right" instead of "if it's killing your act I want a reich" and maybe "giving them freedoms" not "giving in three times" there are more spots that I noticed, but that's all I'll put for now. |
