I originally posted these lyrics sorry for the mistakes, they are all corrected now. I posted these lyrics literally 4 months ago, right when Matis came out with this song, watched him do an awesome acoustic version of this song on his website matisworld.com To me this song is uplifting, healing, and if I'm in a bad mood I listen to this song and it help cheer me up. It also has such a catchy chorus, simple yet deep. I also love how this song is produced the beat is great. The second I heard this song for the first time I knew it was going to be his 1st single from this album. I think his second single from this album will be "I will be Light" |

in jacks concert he played in hawaii on 4-20-08, he played this song with his brother and the song starts out by jack saying "we'd like to dedicate this song to our close friend danny riley" I think this song is about death and beginning. Jacks such a good writer. |

" my impression is he's planting a seed with a girl, and watching it grow..but he's asking where does it grow to the obvious answer to this is the sun, because all plants grow toward the sun, but instead of that he says the branches will they reach for what...nobody really knows. i think he's saying no one really knows where love is supposed to go, it just goes and happens. "There's a world we've never seen, there's still hope between the dreams and the weight of it all could blow away with a breeze. If you're waiting on the wind don't forget to breath cause as the darkness gets deeper we'll be sick and so we reach for love, at least something we can hold. But I'll reach to you from where time just can't go. " This verse is really good too. a world we've never seen, can mean so many different things, such as iraq, or 3rd world countries, the next line is saying theres still hope while your dreaming cause anything is possible. as the darkness gets deeper we'll get sick, i think is refering to a nuclear attack of some sort where we can't see and the world just keeps getting darker because we can't see the sun. then the next line is so we reach for love, at least something we can hold. which i think means if it is getting to the end you would reach to your loved one and hold her forever because that's what you would do if the end was near, reach to love... jacks so deep, great song. |
