| yeah its not about the book your thinking of. I couldnt understand why other people over the web keep saying its about a african american story and all this. if you watch the video clip and listen the lyrics its obvious the sheriff or deputy was trying to rape the girl and the boyfriend came and he was shot dead and even tho they didnt show the girl was raped and then killed. u seen them in the body bags in the clip. uncle tom and the nphew in the tree seeing everything. then they run into the local bar and the sheriff or deputy sees they have been in the water and uncle tom freaks and grabs the gun and shoots uncle tom dead and the boy is left with the secret ... its a pretty cool song .. awesome guitar and cool video clip to boot.. and the warrant live in japan version is just awesome.. i love how these bands have a "thing" they do on stage to perform .. i love how the guitars come in on the live version all 3 of them up the top facing the same way.. LOVE IT. | |
