Heavier than The Poison? Are you fuckin serious, dude? Matt Tuck developed this punky sound on this album and there's a lot less screaming. You don't know shit about metal dude. This is a band that was inspired by Metallica, Maiden and Pantera. Although this album isn't too bad, The Poison was much better in my sincere opinion |

I agree with johnob. I'm surprised at the few comments. I love the opening riff. In general, Matt's voice is taking that original "BFMV" edge away in this album, but it remains fuckin awesome. One of the greatest bands on the planet. |

The most insane solo ever. I've always loved Pantera, but I used to skip this song since the beginning didn't appeal to me. Then the one day my room-mate at varsity was listening to it when I walked in and the solo was playing. I'm like "what the fuck?!" It was so hectic! I could hear it's Dimebag playing but I thought it's an unreleased song or something. Then he told me it's Floods by Pantera. I couldn't believe I skipped that song all along, what a piece of art! Although I must say, I think Cemetary Gates is the benchmark |

I'm so glad I didn't get to know HIM like most of you posers. In 2001 I was in a music store looking for the Type O Negative album Bloody Kisses, which by the way I'll strongly recommend. And from there I just became an absolute HIM freak, and I don't mean like all these fags who posted their views who all go "HIM rocks" or "This is me and my boyfriends' song". Ihope you all fuckin die! I love HIM in a spiritual, deep way. Hence, I agree with HearMeWhisper. Great fuckin song! Synyster Gates is my favourite modern-day guitarist! Someone had to take over from Slash and Dimebag eventually. I think A7X's new sound is better than what they used to produce. WTF and CoE were great albums too, but STST, their first album, didn't impress me too much. I guess I prefer it when M.Shadows sings rather than screams. He's got a fantastic voice. Long live A7X! |
