Is this about a man, whose girl is leaving and he doesn't want to hurt her more with this splitting? "Just let us die In our arms again" They are both sad about the things happening, but know it is already the fact, that they have to be thorn apart. They say goodbye for a long time, like hours and can't leave each other. "You can't believe What you mean to me" He knows she will go away soon and he regrets it and he feels much worse with it than she does - she already made her mind and came to the terms. He can't accept the splitting, he says these wors above quietly, so maybe something will go better way (hopes), though he already knows it is the end, as he says here: "For sure Everything's gone for now" ____________________ "You shouldn't care As long you are here" He wants her to go away, just to make it quick and less hurtful. He tries to say, that he will be fine, despite he knows he won't be alright at all, so she could feel at least little relieved. "Please leave me later" He can't accept she is leaving and denies what he said before - he needs her all the time, yet she must go and he knows that very well. But even those small seconds spent with her are worth one's weight in gold for him. That's all I can say.
