Interpretation: The song is about how people who are treated unfairly and become social outcasts eventually know only the treatment they are given, and turn into bitter, hateful, dangerous people. The song goes through how they tried to make friends, but one person kicked them while they were down just for being themselves, so they give up.

Interpretation: The song addresses how certain cultures and countries (particularly those such as America) try to assume the role of freedom fighters. It addresses the irony they fail to notice in how they're mercilessly waging war in the name of peace, and how they try to make the world a better place by constantly fighting, but only end up being the "fuel to the fire". The question "And when all is over and we return to dust, who will be my judge, and which one do I trust?" could be asking "When all the fighting is over and we have lost so many that we're close to extinction, who am I to follow and trust? And with our purpose scattered amongst the aftermath of war, who will I have to look up to once you're gone?"

My interpretation: The song is about a man who has committed a horrible act, and desperately tries in vain to redeem and cleanse himself. The "sin make me strong" line could be referring to how the man clings onto the hope that he will become a better man after suffering for what he has done, and that he is trying to subdue the demon that overtook him when he committed the terrible act (the "you" in the song being the demon).

My interpretation: The song is about a man who, looking back on the events of his life, feels that he has wasted too much of it. Realizing he is getting older and that he still hasn't caught up with his aspirations and goals, he rushes hard to live and find satisfaction.

My interpretation: It's about a social predator who, through spite and sarcasm, torments and irritates another person. The victim tries to retaliate, but the predator is sly and hard-headed to the point where the victim is so overcome that he eventually becomes a slave to the predator. Eventually, the victim also becomes so upset that he isolates himself from others.

My interpretation: The song is about someone who has a dark past who tries to hide behind a brutal, uncompromising smoke screen to wreck the feelings and ambitions of others.

My interpretation: The song is about how members or supporters of opposing groups are caught up in a pathetic race to constantly try and promote their cause for the sake of promoting it. In order to do so, they constantly try and sabotage one another, spew propaganda, get into inside sources, and perform an assortment of dirty deeds (the example set in this song being sex). It is explained that the people who get caught up in the race and become overrun with their own greed will eventually pay the price that comes from the treacherous life they've tried to lead. The term politics can be applied literally, but it can also be seen as politics within a different social context.

My interpretation: The song is about someone who is in some way frowned upon and shunned within a group due to a struggle or past mistake. He tries desperately to hold on to staying in the group and keeping together and helping them, but they constantly use his old mistake as an excuse to mistreat him and take advantage of him, threatening to exile him if he fails to keep up. It could also be interpreted from the perspective of a married couple, with someone who is desperately in love with another and is trying hard to keep up in order to avoid being "thrown away".
