I don't mean to be picky but the first line of the chorus is: A world beyond your sleep. This is my favourite song of all time by my favourite band of all time whom i found by accident. I believe this is song is about breaking away from the real world and escaping completely into a dream world of your own. A place in which the outside world, no matter how bad it is can affect. |

Hey all just wanted to let you know i am a new user and adore nightwish. I also agree with what Jarli says on this song. An Escapist is a person who uses a technique called 'escapism' to escape reality as the song says. I think that the line 'tearing off the mask of man' refers to people being to faced and or liers, but i could be way off. |
