dancexitxoffx11 : Ahh. Im in the exact situation. My 'best' friend goes out drinking every weekend with the same girl... A girl who i dont like too much cause WE used to be best friends before she became all bad ass etc. Now my friend only talks to me every friday or saturday night when shes walking home, drunk as anything, from where ever she was cause no one else cares about her wellbeing etc accept me. But of course she calls when she has a problem But back to the songs... This song is incredible! I LOVE listening to 'theres no i in team' and 'seventy times 7' one after the other. You can really get the story behind each song and understand both sides of the songs. This is one of those songs that you can listen to over and over again and still never get bored of or lose the meaning to. |

Okaaay. You people need to calm down. Sure. It might be about the gerard/bert feud... But it may not be. No one will ever know unless the band actually says it and that is the ONE explination for the song! And for those of you who say that its immature of bert to make a song about gerard.. What about Taking Back Sunday and Brand New? They both made songs about each other and retaliated... No one calls them immature. Personally i think its good to see people making songs about eachother, as long as its not hurting anyone. Is the fact that this song is bagging on Gerard hurting any of you, seriously? These things get blown way out of proportion by fans when the bands couldnt care less. Just accept that this song has meaning, secret or other wise, about anything or nothing in particular. People saying they are backing MCR or The Used.. Get over it, they dont want your help. They dont even know you. Just enjoy the music for what it is. |

I love this song... And the meaning intrigues me... After reading some of the responses on here.. I think it may have something to do with Bert.. Although i dont know the ENTIRE story... But seriously, my first thought when i heard this song was about when Gerard was an alcoholic and doing drugs during that period where he felt he needed to be some one else on stage. It does refer a lot to what he says in 'life on the murder scene' . As for the part about the 'patient' i dont think this song ties in too much with the whole concept album.. Maybe if you look at it in the right light, but i just cant see it. So yeah, i think its about Gerards alcoholism. Any other ideas? |
