This is practically a straight forward song. Talks about a person (male or female) that has really deep feelings for someone they truly care about. Basically, but if you break the song down a bit, the song is more deeper than what people really think. I don't mind You're someone that ain't mine But someone that I'll get And you don't know how hard I've tried To convince myself that I Can easily forget The person singing is holding onto hope that one day that their love interest will care about that them the same way. The part where they say "can easily forget" is basically thinking that person singing thinks that their love interest and them are together, but really they are not. Just a crush or a best friend with 'benefits'. Its the mind set of wanting that person. But you left this feeling Here inside me One that never fails to find me ... There is this uplifting feeling that the love interest gives to the singer, which they can't describe how amazing this feeling is. And whenever the singer is with the love interest, that feeling will be there. On a rainy Monday ... a feeling inside me Like the days of summer all collide On a rainy Monday ... I feel it inside me In the hopes of one day all collide Has people ever wonder why its called a rainy monday? Most of all, people HATE mondays. When it rains in mondays, the day just becomes worse. Basically when he is talking about his rainy monday, a bad day, he has this feeling of his love that will never fade. A fulfilling emotion that will come back whenever the day is bad or good. You can tell that he changes "feeling" to "feel it inside me" is that right now he feels that high divine emotion. I won't lie I still can't say that I Admit we went too far And you won't see me change my mind But I really wish that I Could forget the way you are This part, this VERY rocky part in his relationship with his love interest made the singer think. Whatever the they did, the singer still hangs onto their hope to be with their love interest. Even though the singer didn't like the things that made the singer hurt as in why "I could forget the way you are" But it won't change their mind because not matter what happens, that feeling is still there. But you left this feeling here inside me The battle in my mind still fights me A bit self explanatory, a bit not. In the first line, its obvious that the singer still has feelings for that person, but the bad thoughts roams in their head whether to stay or go. It's a Rainy Monday, as days go by there is trouble, but its up to the person to decide to make it a bad day or a good day. The singer is struggling of whatever circumstance that his love interest is having; a fight they had, a love triangle, etc. I can see that you're not beside me But I still feel you shine inside of me Far away from his love partner, the feeling of love is still with them no matter what. A contradiction of the song title and the actual lyrics. Like how all a lot of events lead up to a Rainy Monday? or that a Rainy monday is that a bad day, but not as bad as it seems? If you can listen really carefully at the middle end of the song, You can hear the singer say "I won't let you get away." Meaning that whatever happens between them, whether the love interest goes to someone else or it may not work, the singer will continue to chase that person because they still have strong feelings for that person. |

This songs seems to be a ecstasy way of love, but not the bad ecstasy. Like that true happiness when you're with someone you really care about while music is playing the background."music makes me high-igh" So its just you, that person, and that music in a beautiful place to where the lovers will go to "In my rocketship, we'll leave the light of day" I also thought of a sexual manner, but honestly I highly doubt that meaning would come out of Shiny Toy Guns. I see it more in a romantic way where both lovers are just in that moment of ecstasy together. No one else. Just them. |

though for those people who don't really know this song very well, the lyrics here are the ones that Maroon 5 covered first, not the one with Rihanna. That's why the lyrics are a bit different from the Rihanna version. I do agree that this song is quite sexual. Its like the guy did something to the girl, or the other way around, that makes them want to go back to them. But for some reason the girl seems to run away from the man, and the man seems a bit desperate to see the girl again, by saying all these things to woo her. And when they do see each other, pretty much to be blunt, they spent the night together because they might not see each other again so they might as well do it while they still have the chance. And when he says: "And if I never see your face again I don’t mind ‘Cause we've gone much further than I thought we'd get tonight" The guy says no matter how far you are, they'll still remember that night they had together. or so i think. As in the Rihanna and Maroon 5 version, pretty much they have different lines that associate with them, the guy and the girl. that's why in that line in this version of the lyric is: It makes me burn to learn YOU'RE with another man This is the guy saying it to the girl while in the Rihanna version of it: It makes me burn to learn I'M with another man this is saying, that the girl is with the guy. so don't want to make you guys a bit to confuse about that. But i do say, i really like this song, for both the versions, The bass in the original, and switching off the lines in the Rihanna version. amazing. |

This song i do have to say, is very well written, the metaphorical lyrics describing such an emotion, is how i think this some is talking about First, in the beginning where there's that scream or whatever, i think it gives off the insanity of the person, the first stage. from what? from something from the inside. From what i think that's why she says: "What's wrong with me? Why do I feel like this? I'm going crazy now" Second, even though she is saying all the of the things like: It's a thief in the night To come and grab you It can creep up inside you And consume you A disease of the mind It can control you It's too close for comfort She's pretty much describing that feeling as something psychological. Its all in the mind. The feeling that something that caught you,that something has taken control of you, that something is roaming inside of you. Those feelings are all psychological, of insanity. "Disturbia" , Don't really know how interpret this title, but i do think that Insanity that's creeping inside of you is a really great disturbance, and you can't really think, can't even move, can't even control yourself because that something has taken over your body. "Faded pictures on the wall It's like they talkin' to me Disconnectin' your call Your phone don't even ring I gotta get out Or figure this shit out It's too close for comfort" I think these lyrics are saying that the insanity just has taken over, the only thing you have do is try figure whats going in your mind, because its getting closer and closer to you. "I feel like a monster" I bet this can be interpreted in many ways, but than again, in my opinion i think this means that the insanity has taken control of you and now you have this monster, a psychological monster, and now, you have turned into that monster. bringing into: "Release me from this curse I'm trying to remain tame But I'm struggling You can't go, go, go I think I'm going to oh, oh, oh" Apparently, she is speaking to someone, saying that she wants that person to at least save her from her psychological stage of insanity that she is in because she is already consumed by that monster. Well, this is just my way of how interpret this song, could be different from others, but ah well. But thanks for reading. |

As much as this song hurts me in the inside, it mends my heart. the lyrics "maybe it's just me, Couldn't you believe that everything I said and did wasn't just deceiving?" I think of my moments with my ex-bf and remembered that my emotions towards him were truly genuine. That I thought my feelings were not a lie, but truly a special bond, like the wedding ring mentioned in this song. "And someday, I promise I'll be gone." emphasizes a strong word saying that I will get out of his life, the same goes for him. Promising that we will never hurt each other ever. It's truly heartbreaking,but this song makes me stronger. |

Truly i have to say, is that this song is Inspiring. A motivating song to "Live and Learn". The title speaks for itself, but the lyrics just give you this feeling to rise off the ground and keep moving on. Pretty much this songs says is 'Keep Moving and never give up hope! You'll reach a destination where you're surely find if you just live up your life like no tomorrow' I have nothing else to say, except that this song is truly inspiring. it doesn't really have to reference off super heroes, but it can, but i mostly think about ordinary people. "When the door shuts, don't worry about me Its not attention that i want from you" i think this means that,'I can take care of myself and i don't want you to give me your sympathy'. meaning i think, that i'm trying grow up with your help. thank you very much "I need you to trust who I’m gonna be And in everything I’m going to do" 'Can you just believe that i am who i am, and just accept the things that i'm doing.' is basically what its saying. "Cause I’m not afraid of what I don’t know For understanding is all that I earn But what is for sure is I’m gonna go I’m gonna live and I’m going to learn" I have to say, this is my favorite part of the song, cause for what i think, the song is pretty much saying is that everything that we experience, every mistake, every injury that we got in life, we'll live and we'll learn from it. "When the door shuts, it shuts finally A new person that I have become I’ll follow my heart to my destiny Living in fear and the sorrow is done" A new person has arise and matured. and seek help from the person that sympathies them or from anyone else. really nice song i have to say. its very catchy, and i really do like the lyrics as well. Talks about a guy who is really poor, can't even buy anything for the girl that he loves, yet, she still like hims the way he is. and of course, it has to has lyrics to see their 'in depth' relationship. like renting a room in a house and they could do a little something-something. overall, i still think its a good song. and i do have to agree with everyone else, why does the song have to be so short? its so good |

pretty much i agree with girlygurl44 Its one of those, "i have a bad day" songs Where you get up, figure out how much life is treating you, like: Crashed the car and I'm gonna be really late My phone doesn't work cause it's out of range Looks like it's just one of those kind of days and the only thing you want to do just to get that off your mind is just lose control..as in a good way. Scream out loud, Laugh at yourself, etc etc, just to make you feel happy. and what i think when she says "Runaway" is to just runaway from those problems or that bad day you had and go to a direction where you don't want to think about it..... these are my thoughts. overall, i think its a good song, for a bad day. |
