Phil Ochs – Draft Dodger Rag Lyrics 16 years ago
Yeah I think Jerrybear is looking at the song way too deeply. It's Phil Ochs talking about himself dodging the draft.

Propagandhi – Ska Sucks Lyrics 16 years ago
While the song is obviously a joke, it definitely has a great message. I personally love Desmond Dekker, Jimmy Cliff, The Selecter, The Specials (even though they didn't credit their covers), The Slackers, Op Ivy etc. but hate the current wave of ska. Ska-core is a horrible fusion with very few exceptions. Most ska fans today seem to be 12 year old nerds that can't dance and know nothing about ska or reggae music. "But the trend will die out with any luck"

The Selecter – Carry Go Bring Come Lyrics 16 years ago
This song was originally played by Justin Hinds but has since been covered by many ska and reggae groups. The Selecter version is by far my favorite though.

They're both. Some of their songs (such as Achorless) are very pop-punky and some of their songs (such as Rio de San Atlanta, Manitoba) are Thrash. Calling a band "pop-punk" is not necesarily an insult.
