I've always thought this song, to me, just talks about kids/teenagers becoming drones and clones and slaves to society, and that we need to break free and make a difference.(: And for those who feel like they are alone, to know that there are other people who are going through the same things and that we need to unite and break the walls of conformity. :) thats just how it spoke to me. i love the song :] |

This guy wanted me soo bad, i went out with him a couple times, and then broke his heart. :( he started going out with my best friend monica and they are still going out, happy as can be. i hate myself for that. i was such a snob. |

I think that this song is just a tribute to a girl he loves.
A girl that expresses herself... by "meet virginia," i think he is just like "hey, meet this fantastic woman."
i think she's a dreamer and wants to be the queen, but then again, she doesn't like the attention? i dunno. i agree with most of yours. |

This song is not only upbeat and fun to sing along, but it is also pretty sad. "Tryin' not to cry, tellin' me the cancer might cause her to die" Obviously, his mother dies from cancer. I think this song is for those who have been through rough times and just telling them to fight through the pain. |

This song is awesome! I agree with antidisneysequel, being from California as well, it isn't all sunny and fun, but I do live on the coast near beaches. So, I think Hawk Nelson is referring to the coastal part of California, even though they don't exactly say that. I am a surfer so I can relate to this song... when we get bored, we go to the beach and have a blast! |
