i so agree with squiell guy.... life was so much damn easier before i really got involved with people. then i did one of the best things ive ever done for myself.... seperated myself from all of humanity as best i could. accepted a future as a loner.... a shadow. then when i was brought back to society by someone who is now very close to me, i saw just how fucked up it is. |

i think that the narrator isnt exactly depressed constantly, but mabey just went thru something traumatic such as a break up or something and doesnt want to live with the memories. also the word "salvation" in the background after the lead singer screams it makes the song have kind of a surreal atmosphere and its fuckin SICK. |

| survival from ignorance. to me this song is saying that you need to be self-reliant and somewhat confident in order to exist succesfully. its also questioning why people hate and want to destroy what they dont understand, and being able to hate something and blame everything on it. i should know, im gothic and take a LOT of shit for it. this song is kinda from the perspective of someone who is misunderstood to an extreme. | |
