Agree with deetsjohn on the meaning. It's such a good song, got great heart, like the stuff from Atomic Bomb. I think it about not being too afraid about the news and life events, as you have to keep going yourself and you don't need anyone else. "There's nothing you have that I need"

Brilliant, brilliant song. I think it might be about not worrying about the future (will you go to heaven etc.) so Chris is maybe saying "let's forget it". Also, he might be saying it's better not to know your future as he says "son, don't ask".
Another view is that he first verse is almost like an old-time story and he may have "seen his future" in the water and be telling others not to do the same. It could be a Viva la vida style story |

Fran said the whole album was about different unnamed characters, so I guess this one is about someone who is very lost and desperate for someone. |

The lyric is not "The angels just come flooding down again", its "The angels tears come flooding down again", i think. It's a beautiful song which actually makes you feel good. |

This is such a beautiful song to finish the brilliant Pushing the Senses album. It seems to reflect on Jon's death and could be to a message to others in a similar sad situation. It really marks a growth for Feeder from their earlier albums. |
