This song is about people selling "Pink's" story to the rolling stone. Pink was the character for "The Wall" album, it is left unclear what breaking Pink's wall down in "The Trial" means. The shotgun sound over the line -and if I'm in I'll tell you what's behind the wall may suggest that Pink broke down his wall by ending his life. Intersting sidenote David Gilmour doesn't like this album because a lot of the songs are ones that all the band except Roger wanrt left off "The Wall" so that might be why this references Pink and the "Wall"

This song is about the rescue operation for David the fisherman. He is the main character in tis concept album. THIS ALBUM IS A MASTERPIECE and anyone who says different has no musical taste whatsoever. This album is the kind that reminds You that music is an Art. It's a differnt sound for F.F.A.F but I like it they seem to have matured . The whole album is well written. MUSIC AND LYRICS

"Tales Don't Tell Themselves" is a Concept Ablum about a fisherman lost at sea. This song is about him floating in the water after his ship has been destroyed by a storm. This is my favorate song on T.D.T.T it is better than Into Oblivion (Reunion)
