With the 156 chords, and the BPM, could be the naming of the song, or becuase of the name of the song. :) I sort of think it's about prostitution. Partially because 156 is the number of the Scarlet Whore of Babylon. She caused the destruction of Babalon, then became, effectivley, a whore for Satan. But then again, I'm actually more taken by the idea of that he loves her and misses her, becuase she ran away (quite possibly inexplicably to him) |

Oh. I never even thought about drugs. I thought it was a girl, even just a friend, who has become miserable and hating everything etc, and has thus become isolated and cold and never showing thier true self, so nothing can hurt them anymore. And he's saying that he's going to help them get better and feel better about letting people in, becuase he misses his friend. The 'my arms retreat...' is like saying he's been rejected, but he's only sorry for it. |

I kinda agree with psychocherry there, i think it's about being something you're not. It makes me think me most about a girl trying to fit in with the fashionable crowd (horses), when she's been an unpopular type (cat) most of her life. It's like he knows she's not being true to herself or her friends, and she is starting to ignore him, which he doesn't like, then by the end he's happy with himself and cats, and she can go and play nice with the horses like the sellout she is, and he couldn't care less. This comes from a teenage girl mind, so it probably means something a little more mature than that. ¬_¬ |
