I think It's about his past friendship with Bert from The Used. I think this song may be Gerard Way saying he is done with the fame, and he wants out. On many other songs from this album I get the feeling that he wants to quit completly, especially when he says things like "These bright lights have always blinded me." So, I'm kinda doubting that he enjoys making music anymore. [The 'Patient' on the Black Parade may be himself, it all fits in my mind.] |
