Lovage in general mixes the breathy feminine vocals with a bass singer to turn a binary into a powerful single voice. |

Lovage – Sex (I'm A) Lyrics
|
I think this song truly shows how sex is really set up.
Despite the woman taking submissive roles, the entire goal of the entire act is to please her.
It's really an interesting song that is full of different ways to interpret it.
It could also be a way of subtly poking fun at how men have pretty bland fantasies whereas women are full of imagination in this regard. |

Lovage – Pit Stop (Take Me Home) Lyrics

I think the lyrics and tune of the chorus were inspired by one of Beck's songs from his Midnite Vultures album
"What a wonderful way" (To go)
vs
"What a beautiful way" (To break a heart)
Similar lyrics to a similar tune. |

Is it just me or are these lyrics next to impossible to understand? I mean, the song is definitely about a cumfacial, but that's about all I got. |

I think the meaning of this song is obvious and doesn't require explanation, although I like the cheating interpretation because it is an interesting take on a open/shut case. |

Röyksopp – This Must Be It Lyrics

I quickly reject the religious interpretation on the grounds that the heavy use of dance references would not be compatible with most religious scripture, God doesn't dig dancing.
I think this is about a woman first going to a club, or perhaps some sort of ballroom.
If one knows how it feels to be early to a club that you haven't been before, then you may relate to this idea, the nervousness that one feels, the excitement. One is afraid, if they survive, they'll worship the night-life and the environment. One is waiting patiently for something to happen, something fun, then when things start, it's ecstasy, so much excitement. Later in this song the feelings associated with meeting a new person seem to be described. She's dancing and she's having fun, she's scared but she's eager.
A beautiful song describing the thrill of the night. |

Lyric correction. "Join the Army if you failed" should be "Join the Army Infantry"
"By users, cheaters, 6 time losers" should be "by losers, cheaters, 6 time users" |

Led Zeppelin – Stairway to Heaven Lyrics
|
This song is very upbeat, but it's more about the choices we make in life and the mentalities we choose to have. A very positive outlook will result in a positive life. We all have to deal with certain choices, certain ideas of morality, ethics, philosophies, and the lady we all know says it's ok to make a wrong turn, there's always time to change the road you're on. Everything will be fine. Relax. |

Would you kiss me if I were leaving?
Would you hold me because I'm lonely without you?"

I love this song. We've all been there...
There are two people who have a lot of fun, and things get le-sexy, but she is like, oh shit, I love this guy
The guy is like "woah... what?!"
She sees him the next day and is like "yeah sorry about that, uh... I don't know what happened, I'm better now though."
He's like "okay. :3"
She's like "omg omg omg I love you, and fuck... I mean it too..."
what a nice song. :3 |

The Wallflowers – Josephine Lyrics

The only person who is even CLOSE to the actual meaning of this song is Archaia Sophia. The last verse definately makes sure to demonstrate that it's a pedo story.
"I knew I was wrong... I knew all along. But I got so far from my home, I never thought I'd be so lonesome."
He's in love with someone who is way too young for him, someone who is still in school. He's also unashamed of it, he only acknowledges that the him from a few months ago, or when he was still near his family, would never think something like this would happen.
Sorry if I just ruined this song, but seriously guys, read the lyrics. Same is true for those who think that Lily by the Smashing Pumpkins is not about a stalker when the lyrics clearly indicate that that is the point.
I think women just have wishful romantic thinking. |

The Wallflowers – Be Your Own Girl Lyrics

I think it's about a girl who is with a guy who really isn't the best for her. She gets drunk constantly and used with him, wakes up in weird places, etc, and there is another guy who cares alot about her who says things not because he wants her to himself, but because they are things she needs to hear. |

The White Stripes – Look Me Over Closely Lyrics

It's about a man who is not a boyfriend or potential lover for a woman. In other words, they're just fuck-buddies. She goes to him for comfort and he provides her some level of comfort, but he tries to remind himself that she's not for him. Then she grows on him to a bit of an extent and he finds that he likes her quite a bit. |

Benny Benassi – No Matter What You Do Lyrics

Anyone who has seen the video for this song can attest to it's creepiness, and not in a bogeyman sort of way. It does remind me of the novel 1984, when the protagonist is told point blank about the party. Unfortunately, that example points to the ability of others to change people's minds. Oh well. It is a wonderfully infectious tune. |
