The White Stripes – Icky Thump Lyrics | 17 years ago |
@ thedownpour go join the Border Patrol. no really: http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/careers/customs_careers/border_careers/bp_agent/bp_now_hiring_lp.xml they're currently seeking about 18,000 new recruits. take action or shut up. using circular reasoning to establish verbal formulas is an excellent way to pat yourself on the back with sociopolitical fallcies but it doesn't really get much done. pro is opposite of con, no shit sherlock. those are also subjective quantifications of GOOD and BAD (two very largely disputable value systems). regardless, deporting the hostile forces of the alien invasion (look i can put spins on words too!) doesn't really do much besides hurt the overdrafted war-machine that the US has become ( again! again! ). Besides, with the worlds 6th largest economy in the world being California- the current stronghold of insidious alien forces- having agriculture as its predominant industry, being double that of the next ranking industry, I highly doubt the idea of removing the threat would be popular with anyone. Lets not forget that many Southwestern states also share borders with Mexico and also have immigrant labor-driven industries. On top of that, illegals continue to permeate further northward as far as Montana and Wyoming. Somehow, I'm sure you understand how this is pertinent to what we're talking about. |

The White Stripes – Effect and Cause Lyrics | 17 years ago |
King of Some Island has nailed albeit not in entirely descriptive language. Believe it or not, some people like to make everyone else accountable for their problems. correction: well in every complicated situation of human relation, making sense of it all takes a whole lot of concentration well you can't blame a baby for her pregnant ma and if theres's one of these unavoidable laws it's that you just can't take the effect and make it the cause 'auto applause' lol wtf does that even mean. if you guys wanna post lyrics try buying the cd and reading the insert. its there for a reason. the chorus itself spits out the meaning of the song regardless: you can't take the effect (you can't handle the consequences) and make it the cause (make the consequences the reason whatever happened did) derr derr derr |

"im pretty sure that its: "WELL americans what nothing better to do why dont you kick yourself out youre an immigrant too" i dont think jack WHITE, would be like "white americans" hes white too, and his last name is white, its just too ironic. haha" stupid. Jack is Polish, he comes from a heritage of immigration. His mother is full-on Polish therefore hes a first-gen Polish American. Please stop drinking the Drano... or increase your intake |

Anyone see a connection with 'I Think I Smell A Rat'? One of the posts on that touched on mid- to high-income families and their delinquent offspring as well as an alleged story about Jack's car getting smashed up and confronting the mother and the kid responsible. Makes me think about Spring Break and the popular connotations carried with it in the US. Like.... 'WHOOO CANCUN' or.... 'WHOOO FLORIDA' or... We assume this external air of superiority and upstanding morality but when we go somewhere that isn't the US all bets are off because we think we own everyone else. But I definitely agree with the other posts on immigration and mistreatment of foreign nationals in a country that whites simply populated faster than anyone else. Now I'm thinking about that commercial about landfills with the crying Native American. Concerning the theme of truth - a lot of the stuff concerning the American decimation of Native Americans has either been misrepresented or watered down in history books for the sake of teaching... what exactly? Not history. |
The White Stripes – Passive Manipulation Lyrics | 17 years ago |
following the vein of truth as a common theme: more or less its been nailed. marry a man who isn't a passing temptation, marry a man who will stick around and take care of you. even though we hate to listen to our parents, most of them are only pushing truth on you for the best. possibly this is a statement about the institution of marriage itself what with the global increase of divorce rates. people getting married for the wrong reasons aka not-truth. or another example is jack and meg themselves, no offense intended |
