Not every song that Bert sings is about Gerard. Half of the songs by The Used have comments saying "I think this is about the Gerard/Bert fued." Ok, so a song might be about hating someone. It doesn't HAVE to be about Gerard. Anyway, that fued was ages ago. People should just get over it. |

Well, I think different people might take this song in different ways (obviosly) so don't hate me if you think I've gotten the meaning wrong... I loved the intro, especially how he says "Love is not like anything. Especially a fucking knife." To me, I think that means that if theres something thats making you so unhappy that you cut, then it's just not worth it. For example, if you have, just say a boyfriend/girlfriend and you cut yourselves because of them then it's not love. You can't compare love to anything... I also think that the actual song is about the whole 'emo'/scene thing. But you know...I could be wrong. |

This song is very emotional, I think I prefer more of the screaming type stuff but I have to admit I really like this song. Personally, I think its all about ending relationships, or maybe that he ended it but then realized he shouldn't have. Meh, that's what I get from it. About the album...I think that it has alot more slower songs, which are good but I think I would rather hear more of the slightly heavier ones. (Eg, Liar Liar [Burn in Hell]) Or even some of there older stuff. But, all in all it's a very good album. |

Defenatly my fave Pencey Prep song! I only heard of them because of 'Life on the Murder Scene' (MCR) but I'm glad I did! I think I like the lyrics more than the singing, but the singing's still good. (Love the screaming too) |

Its a great song! Its so happy and upbeat sounding yet its about suicide. Its about suicide yet against suicide note the "Think Happy Thoughts" part at the end. I guess its saying don't think about all the shit, think about the good stuff. Well thats what I think anyway. |

I love this song...although it was wasy overplayed! Its pretty much all about death I guess...the 'patient' is a dead guy and maybe the 'black parade' is a parade of the dead which he joins... Well thats just what I think. PS: Who cares if MCR have become more 'mainstream'? Music is music, its all about what you like...not what the rest of the world likes! |

Love this song. Kinda reminds of 'Join Me' by HIM. About two lovers that love eachother so much that they would kill themselves so they could be together for eternity. Or maybe she pulled out at the last second so she was the reason he died (explaining the 'all we are is bullets' part) That we are the reason people die/commit suicide I bought 'Bullets' the other day and this is defenatly one of my favourite songs! Speaking bitterness: Your explanation was fantastic and really made me think about the meaning of this song again. |
