Sufjan Stevens – Kill Lyrics

I'm a musician and a Christian, like Sufjan, and Ive written some pretty awful lyrics, in the sense that they are graphic, angry, hate-filled, etc. They are human emotions and its a way for me to vent those frustrations. It doesnt mean I dont reslove the problem that is the source of all my anger and I act out based on my feelings. it wouldnt surprise me if these were Sufjans feelings because Im an extremely mild-mannered person i have writtend some 'dark,' for lack of a better word, stuff. Im not comparing myself to Sufjan at all on a musical level either... just to clear that up. hes a genius |

does the ribbon of green maybe have to do with the story of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight? After Gawain admitted he had cheated against the Green knight, he wore a green ribbon to symbolize his shame. Just curious? |
