i dont entirely agree with "uglytruth";; yes sometimes he does sound like the inside of a diary..but that is the point of his music. Actually...its the point of alot of artists today;; amy lee uses her music as an expression of her life, a way to get her pain out. Thats what eminem does too! And thats why so many people like him, cause they can relate. sorry if you cant. |

i agree that this song is about peter's denial of christ. i also agree that thrice is not a christian band, though they do have christian members. their songs always have a deeper meaning and always tell a story...thats what i like about them. plenty of bands tell stories;; most of those bands rock. just because this song is about a bible oriented theme doesnt make them a christian band, but it also doesnt rule it out. you cant really classify the way dustin or any other members write by any other way than simply "story telling";; much like Iron Maiden and others of the sort. who cares if theyre christian or not? moving lyrics= awesome... i believe we can all agree that thrice ROCKS. |
