obviously this song deals with the hardships Soulja Boy went through as a child. He speaks of "haterz" which he had to "jock." But we see he is always triumphant. We also glimpse at a bit of Soulja Boy's absurdist dada-esque paraphrases with "I got me some bathin apes" as an example. He also mentions the problems in Iraq, and the general political crisis going on in the middle east with "I'ma pass it to arab." He speaks of leaving the general chaos there up to the townspeople instead of having the U.S. government take care of the situation themselves. All in all, this song is a wonderful example of interweaving personal, external, and political issues into brilliant lyrics. Praise you, Soulja Boy. |

ive heard the backwards beggining, and sure enough he says those things. Its like a way to say "hey look we have a backwards message thats not satanic."
But also i hear words in the beggining without being reversed, like "Listen to me..." Also right before the "pure as we begin" part, there is talking thats not even whispering. At one point i sounds like the wierd "ju-ju" from merkaba... |

hmmmmmmmmmmmm...this track is a definite mystery. I think renegade nunja is on the right track with the whole idea of viginti tres as being backround noise for the whole album. But i also think that there might be a hidden message in this song...i'll mess around with it |

just a note on the sync-up of 10k and marie...
To sync them up perfectly, you need to sync them up to a riff. (This riff is a "tool" for the sync up. The riff is at 9:14 in 10k and is exactly the same as the riff in marie at 4:13
also, when you get to around 7:30 when he says "give me my wings!" theres is soo much harmony it makes me wanna cry.
and just one more note, before the simultaneous riff, wings for marie changes key. Now this might sound dissonant, but if you equalize it, then it actually sounds really good, and kinda epic, cuz its like a buildup to the simultaneous riff.
At the end the lyrics are the same, but they are echoing eachother and its kinda creepy.
I'll post the mix somewhere on the internet so everyone will know thats it actually works. |

Okay, well i tried the wings-for marie and 10,000 days sync-up thingy, and it worked perfectly. The viginti tres part doesn't really make that much difference, but i noticed that the parts where 10,000 days gets thick viginti tres gets thick. Also, a trick for syncing up marie and 10k days is to get the riff at about 9:14 and sync it up with the riff in marie. They are EXACTLY THE SAME! After that, they both do the same thing except not in sync, but in echoes of eachother.
Alzo, before the riff wings for marie changes key, and ive found that if you make 10k louder at this point it sounds really epic. |

i actually always thought of this as the sort of makeshift preparation for the guy in rosetta stoned's trip. Its sorta like him and his friend just sorta messin around with drums and powerful magical incantations, then the next songs are about how it turned out to be too much |
