In my experience in dating, I've only had my heartbroken and been cheated on (at least to my knowledge), so the last line of the chorus doesn't apply, but the rest of it, and the way it's sung, hit my heart hard. A heartbreak and the aftermath described perfectly: "First, you think the worst is a broken heart. What's gonna kill you is the second part. And the third - Is when your world splits down the middle. And fourth - You're gonna think that you fixed yourself. Fifth - You see them out with someone else." |
