I agree with megan, it's all about starting a business career after your studies. You start making big bucks but feel like shit because you hate what you are doing and start dying slowly in a way. "cause i found the backdoor of teenage hell" it refers to the fact by beginning to work you think you're gonna start something newly interesting but one hell just leads to another (worse in fact). and my favorite: "Too messed up to sit and settle down. Too messed up to even mess around. Thats why your smiling Mr CEO." This is brilliant. It's really describing how between two chairs you are when you start giving up most of the fun you had before to make money and conforming to what the company (and mr CEO) expects from you: in a way you're pushed to settle down by your job and you don't really want to because you are still young, but, on the other hand, you can't have fun anymore like you used to because you changed. Most business graduates who start to work while they are still very young probably know what i mean ;) |
