Dream Theater – I Walk Beside You Lyrics | 16 years ago |
honestly i think its more of a love song. i believe its possible that its a religious song because DT has been known to have their members as faithful followers...or i know a few are....but i just think this song is more of a love song. |

i agree with apexgt, this song sounds like Jesus trying to save a woman who died's soul and tell her about the love towards her... |

Dream Theater – Disappear Lyrics | 17 years ago |
holy crap this song is very freaky, but beautiful. I have those shivers down my spine during the beginning. I kind of got depressed just reading the songs lyrics. Much more listening to it....its really sad |
Dream Theater – Blind Faith Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Glass_prisoner you about gave me a heart attack until i read the rest of your post. If i say so myself i am a good believer in my faith of christianity and i believe this song would definately not be insulting the religion because DT of what i heard of is pretty faithful. Just listen to songs like, The Spirit Carries on. People claim that song isnt religious(mainly the stubborn faithless people) but if you listen to it, its clear to me |
Dream Theater – Trial of Tears Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I could be wrong but it reminds of me of 9-11. Im not sure when this was written, but its Raining on the streets of new york city reminds me of the years fallen from the faces of those during the crashes and the tears fallen from heaven. The wasteland part reminds me of a man comming home to NYC and it being in ruins. as if his home was destroyed |
Eternal Tears of Sorrow – Autumn's Grief Lyrics | 17 years ago |
hmm i have also found out that they actually met in a ballroom. (The dance of two free souls... No more masquerades of mortals Just you and me as nightly guests At the dance hall of our last Autumn) |
Eternal Tears of Sorrow – Autumn's Grief Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I dont know the real meaning or what you guys think but this really reminds me of Romeo and Juliet for some strange reason. The first performance of romeo and juliet was in autumn....( it sounds stupid but i was guessing why this was called autumn's grief ) Together we lived our lives... And together we will leave... It shall be the final tie Of our bloody seal... We gave our secret promise On the shore of our red streams... The bloody oath of real love... The oath of red falling leaves... Together they lived together, Together they killed themselves they gave a secret promise to love each other the bloody oath of love ( the suicide ) |
