lol the title is probably how you can explain the song. But the lyrics look as if it is just a sarcastic agreement. The irony is, is that the main verse parts are sung so fast, they dont make sense (possibly meaning that the idea of war makes no sense) |

I think this song also has elements of Grover Cleveland Elementary School "massacre", were a 16-year-old girl went on a rampage and killed 2 adults. When she was finally caught and questioned why she did it, she shrugged and replied "I don't like Mondays. This livens up the day."

This song is a big load of bullshit. Punks and hippies are not alike and she cannot fuse them. She aparently didnt like popstars yet she is singing a pop song.
I can hear everyone at my school sing this stupid song, and when i ask them wtf the stupid lyrics they are singing mean, they just stare at me blankly and dont have a f**king clue.
And since when do u have to wish to be a punk rocker? it isnt about asking whether you want to be something, its about being an individual and not giving a shit about other peoples crap. |
