This was the first moneen song I ever heard!!! I have an amazing live version of it where they go off into a lttle instrumental at the end which is AWESOMELY kick ass! I always thought it was about a relationship where the girl takes it a step further but the guy didn't/ wasn't ready for it yet. |

I love the little guitar lulling at the end and Axl singing the words, "Love's so strange", it just puts chills in my spine. You can feel the raw emotion in Axl's voice and tell that this song truly comes from him. Great song! |

This WHOLE album runs so fluidly together..especially the last two songs. I like how Axl sings that he's "still wet behind the ears" yet the band now is one of the better bands in history. |

Anybody notice that the crowd seems to be saying the bandmembers names before the song starts? Or that they happily chant "Get in the Ring" long after they stop playing? Who sings the part that starts with "You got your bitches with
the silicone injections"?

To all you guys out there...I CAN sing this entire song, including the last bit that will give people an "aneurysm", haha. I had borrowed my dad's secondhand CD of Use Your Illusion 1, and my headphones were broken (but I didn't realize it), so I made it through the whole CD listening to only Slashes' guitar parts!!! ( truly wicked experience ). After the big BOOM at the end of this song, I just sat there for about ten minutes, in complete shock. Then I played it again, and again, and to this day, I'm stil playing it. |

Its pretty obvious that it has two meanings. One, that he's trying to kick his drug habit, and compares it to a habit like biting nails. Two, he's addicted to sex with his ex girlfriend. I like the last one better because too many songs "could" be about drugs. |

Whenever I go on a really long road trip, I'll put this song on repeat and listen to it for hours. For me, this song represents my wandering spirit and how some people search for their own personal promised lands. I love the different guitars and how well they flow together. The "aaahh"-ing at the end always makes me chant along too, no matter where I am. Beautiful imagery in the lyrics. |
