Tokio Hotel – Forgotten Children Lyrics

I wouldn't rule it out for the future. It's just that they're still young so all their songs at the moment are about identity and adolescent life. But once they've sorted all that out I can see them continuing to become more active in world issues. |

Tokio Hotel – Break Away Lyrics

It sounds like a relationship where the other person was being controlling and smothering and he feels too constrained so he's going to end it. |

lol Bill tends to be a confusing individual, doesn't he? But I think Shaylean got it. She said *he's* trying to break away while *she* wants him back =) |

Tokio Hotel – Black Lyrics

This song is so cool. I think I get most of it except this one verse that doesn't seem to fit "Where have you gone/You made us feel so strong/You lost us and now we are/Alone."
The first verse sounds like maybe he's talking about the band's career. They once said in an interview that, after Zimmer, they'd established their sound and had a clear idea about where they wanted to go for their next album. So in the first couple of verses he says, "The world has broken down/Every stone's been turned around...We don't know what's to come...And now we have to run." It sounds like they've made their mark on the world, established who they are as artists and all that's left now is to move forward in their career even if they don't know exactly what will come in the future. This idea seems to be reinforced in the chorus "The last look back is black/The night turns dark ahead/There's no turning back."
So, looking at the whole picture, I would say this song is about moving forward, not necessarily dwelling on the past and continue to push oneself toward the future. Even if you don't have a clear future, just go for it =) |

Tokio Hotel – Monsoon Lyrics

lol I love this comment. That's so true. Bill's voice is sexy after puberty hahaha
And I love this song and many others because Bill's performance is always very emotional. Which, by the way, is long for "emo"! So yes, I would say TH are "emo" in the sense that they are very passionate. But I think it's rude to imply that they are depressingly suicidal based on your judgement of the way Bill looks. And, like someone mentioned already, why would you haters even waste your time searching the lyrics of a band you don't like? lol |

Tegan and Sara – Don't Confess Lyrics

Hm..no one actually said what they think this song means. well, it reminds me of myself not being able to confess to this guy that i like him. or liked him, i'm not sure anymore. but anyways, based on what i'm going through this song sounds like she doesn't want to confess or deny her feelings and she wants the person on the recieving end to send her a signal ("send a little smile/send a little love")...i dunno, that's what i get out of this. i'd like to hear other opinions though |
