Athlete – One Million Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I think its about how hes finally found a girl he loves after going through "a million" And then he finds her maybe shes a bit of a rebel And he changes her and she gets scared of what shes become and how shes changed for someone and maybe shes scared of commitment and love So she runs away But they both regret splitting up But hes learnt to deal with it XxXRarahXxX |
Athlete – Twenty Four Hours Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I can't but help to think that this song is about an arguement "People rushing left to right There's pretty faces left to right I'm just frozen staring into space" I think this is him seeing his girlfriend cheating on him and hes just frozen in his tracks "And it's caught wide screen so we dont miss a thing" I think this is theres alot going on around him and yet he focuses on his cheating girlfriend making the image feel "widescreen" "Couldn't be an accident Cause I cant see no ambulance," Hes saying it couldnt of been a drunken mistake or anything accidentle because he can't see the mad rush of pushing the guy/girl of his girlfriend mad rush like an ambulence fast and means theres danger "I know that we will work it out this time" This time they will sort their relationship out and its not the first time the relationships gone wrong This is how I see the song anyway Feel free to contridict me XxXRarahXxX P.S Im not very good with grammer and stuff so hmm yeh...sorry |
Snow Patrol – Grazed Knees Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Your breakfast will get cold I really have to go" Im proberly wrong but I think the first two verses are a conversation between two people. They've slept together but one regrets it, possibly because its with an ex. One of them wants the other to stay saying "Your breakfast will get cold" and the other making an excuse to leave saying he/she "really has to go" My view anyway proberly wrong Beautiful song though XxXRarahXxX |
Panic! at the Disco – London Beckoned Songs About Money Written By Machines Lyrics | 18 years ago |
"The weather today is slightly sarcastic with a good chance of A. Indifference and B. Disinterest in what the critics say " I think what P!ATD are saying is in the whole song their being sarcastic they don't want to be scene hip or it they just want to play their music. Also the title of the song " London Beckoned Songs About Money Written By Machines" I think is referring to the sell outs and the bands that don't write their own lyrics. And also to those who are saying P!ATD are the same as/copied FOB then you seriously need to listen to more of their music Alot of bands sound the same anyway They're all trying to keep up with the times Just my view, an opinion so don't say Im wrong because really there is no right or wrong in opinion XxXRarahXxX |
