I think you're right for the most part, but I don't see him saying that he's not going to kill himself as a boast at all. I feel as if he's disappointed that these people killed themselves especially if you look at the lyrics to 'That'll be the Day'. |

i have to disagree with you jellobiafrafan... this song is about how he broke up with a girl and he cant get over her although he is trying as shown by the lines "And I do use the memories of us, But I use them more, more like a drug." He tries going out with girls after as shown by the lines where he lists them all but none of them can compare to her although he tried; he looked each one in the eye and tried to make it work, but it was never as good as her. |
