everytime i'm down, i listen to this song, and there's something about it that calms me. maybe it's her singing, or the reassurance in the lyrics, but it has a huge impact on me.

This part is really insightful to me, because I am really close to this one woman, and she is pretty much a second mom to me. I always go to her for help and advice, where the first one or two lines from this exerption comes from. It just explains me really well. I find that in songs like these, I can read them and interpret them myself, like it's my own song. I don't know; sounds weird, but its hard to explain. As for Anna herself; she did a good job, but I would rather have heard it from someone else. But no "Hollywood celebrity". That would wreck it entirely. Overall, awesome song. |

i love how this song is like turning a bad situation into a good one. like, how the band is optimistic. "we used to be friends": when i think of that phrase, i think of losing a friend, and a sad feeling, because i can relate to that. but the way to song is sung is in an upbeat tune. love how they did that. |

Acutally, I think the whole "Jesus" thing works out pretty good too. I never realized that. And a song doesn't have to be "Christian" to be about Jesus. Even if you guys don't think so, the whole Easter thing really fits in with it all. Think differently, but that's my opinion. Everyone can interpret it anyway they want. |

Hands down, this song is absolutely INCREDIBLE. I have never heard a song that has more emotional impact than this. Obviously, JEW are amazing song writers. Everytime I hear this song, I cry. I know that this song has a different meaning to everyone, and that's fine, because for people to get the same feeling out of music, they need to have the creativity to interpret the lyrics whichever way they choose. AMAZING SONG. Amazing. |
